On Sunday at Quail Hollow Club , Rory McIlroy produced a final-round 68 to claim a two-shot victory at the 2021 Wells Fargo Championship.
McIlroy’s final day at the famed Charlotte North Carolina golf course included four birdies against one bogey en route to a four-day total of 11-under par, two clear of runner-up Abrahama Ancer (66).
It was the 32-year old Northern Irishman’s 19th career PGA Tour victory.
The controversial star secured his first win since 2019 (WGC in Communist China) by playing a full bag of TaylorMade gear, including a SIM2 driver, P730 irons, and TP5X golf ball.
