Equipment Profile: Callaway Big Bertha OS Irons

0

Callaway has been quite busy these last few weeks, with the launch of Steelhead XR and Big Bertha Fusion line of equipment. And now Callaway is once again rekindling its love with the Big Bertha name.

A name always synonymous with game improvement and maximum distance, the Callaway Big Bertha OS Irons are no different.

The Big Bertha OS Irons come with Callaway’s Exo-Cage technology, which we first saw with the releases of the Big Bertha Fusion Driver. Think of the Exo-Cage like an exoskeleton for the club, it’s a construction technique that promotes distance. They combined this with their next-generation 360 Face Cup technology, which results in more distance on every swing.

Key Features

More Forgiveness

The uniquely light-and-strong design of the Exo-Cage allows more weight to be positioned in strategic locations to increase forgiveness.

Higher Ball Speed

Next-generation 360 Face Cup technology elevates energy retention at contact which produces faster ball speeds and more distance.

Higher Launch for Longer Carry

Tungsten-Loaded Standing Wave technology in the sole lowers the center of gravity to promote a higher launch angle for longer carry and more ball speed.

Progressive Center of Gravity for Increased Control

Progressive Center of Gravity technology entails moving the CG location progressively lower in each head from the highest-lofted to the lowest-lofted, promoting higher launch and long carry in the long-irons and increased control in the short-irons.
