Jon Rahm won the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines with a final round 7-under 65, finishing the tournament at 13-under-par. It was the 22 year-old’s first win on the PGA Tour.
Rahm started the tournament ranked 137th in the world and 67th in the FedEx Cup standings. With the victory, Rahm moved up 61 spots in the FedEx race, to the 6 spot – and he’s expected to crack the top-50 in the world on Monday.
For his performance, the Arizona State alum also took home a nice check worth $1,206,000.
