LPGA Mediheal: Three-way Tie After Day One

Rookie Anne van Dam of the Netherlands, and major champions So Yeon Ryu and Eun-Hee Ji – both from Korea, share the day-one lead at the LPGA MEDIHEAL Championship.

The lead trio were 5-under 67, one-shot clear of another threesome in Taiwanese Peiyun Chien, Korean Amy Yang, and Celine Boutier of France.

Five more players were deadlocked at 3-under par, headlined by top-ranked stars Moriya Jutanugarn of Thailand, Korea’s In Gee Chun, and England’s Charley Hull.

The top Americans were Amy Olsen, Morgan Pressel and Sarah Schmelzel, who sat T12 on 2-under par, alongside Korean legend Inbee Park.
