Justin Thomas won his fifth title of the 2016-17 PGA Tour season. The victory moved the 24-year old into the pole position for Player of the Year honors.
Thomas has now amassed $8,953,022 on the season, slightly ahead of good friend Jordan Spieth ($8,870,845) for the No. 1 position on the Money List.
Interestingly (or not), nearly 85% of JT’s cash haul for the season is by the way of eight bookend starts – the first five and last three. For the 15 tournaments in between, he earned $1,402,574.
