Abraham Ancer produced a final-round 68 and then beat Hideki Matsuyama and Sam Burns on the second playoff hole to claim his maiden PGA Tour title at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational.
Ancer’s final day at TPC Southwind included 14 pars, one bogey and three birdies en route to a four-day total of 16-under par.
The Texas native secured his first career win playing basically every brand possible, including Callaway, TaylorMade, Srixon, Titleist, Odyssey and Miura.
