Jon Rahm carded a final-round 69 to claim a one-stroke victory at the 2022 Mexico Open.
The Spaniard superstar finished his final day at Vidanta Vallarta with one bogey offset by three birdies en route to a 17-under par score, one clear of a trio which included Brandon Wu (63), Tony Finau (63) and Kurt Kitayama (68).
Rahm earned $1,314,000 and 500 FedExCup points, which will move the 27-year-old to No. 9 on the money list, and No. 6 on points. He also picked up 32 OWGR points which solidifies his hold on the second spot, behind only world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler.
