After a decent turnaround on day one of the PGA Championship, Phil stepped up to the tee for his first shot of round two and did this.
"In the history of the PGA Championship, that's the worst start of any player's round."

Baltusrol is not a municipal “spray and play” course so when you hit the ball a mile right and a mile left chances are you’re not getting up and down for par.
In this case, Philsy first sliced one OB into a nearby residential street (Pro Tip: pay close attention to the 15-second mark, you can see the ball trickle over the road), and then he hooked one right where it settled near the cart path. Philsy couldn’t stop the bleeding. From there, he hit one “into a kid’s playroom,” and finished with a triple bogey.
Phil could have used Jack’s plaque for good luck on this hole more than a few times.
