Dustin Johnson: “Completely Done With the PGA Tour”

Dustin Johnson is “completely done with the PGA Tour” and will only play LIV events and majors, according to a tweet by Sky Sports’ Jamie Weir.

Weir followed up, and asked, what the two-time major winner would do with all his time off – would he “fish?”

DJ replied, “I can do whatever the hell I want.”

Johnson has committed to the LIV GOLF series for four years, according to GOLF’s Sean Zak.

Dustin Johnson has applied to Wentworth HQ to join the European circuit in a shock move after being banned from the PGA Tour for signing up with the breakaway Saudi series.

  3. If the PGA Tour is so great why don’t they let the players play where ever they want. Everybody doesn’t play in every tournament.

  9. Joe Biden’s crack head son has nothing to do with the immorality of these greedy Multimillionaire golfers who are willing to overlook the Saudi’s role in 9/11 just to line their pockets.
    One of these golfers he said he was just doing what was in the best interest of his family. I’m sure his family is just one step away from the bread line.

    I guess patriotism means nothing to these people. Maybe it doesn’t pay well enough!

    I used to love watching some of these guys play but I’m done. They no longer exist for me!!

    Maybe they ought to apply for Saudi citizenship while they are there. I’m sure the Prince would pay them handsomely for the privilege. What a bunch of losers!

  10. When Curt Flood challenged MLB for free agency the press and others did the same trashing to protect the owners. It was wrong then and wrong today. We don’t cater to a Monopoly like the PGA is trying to establish.

Wonder how people will feel as our AWESOME President goes to SAUDI Arabia and begs for oil? what morons we all have become its a freaking golf game! people can play where they want PGA and stupid nance spent so much time yesterday repeating what a great place and tour it is WHY NOT SHUT UP if you are so good??? Even KORN FERRY announcers were so obvious that STOOGE JAY had them talking about how good the PGA is! Sooooo obvious!

    I am so sick of pro sports THE ONLY reason I watched was to hear them bash each other The PGA trys so hard to make the tour so great. these guys make so much money that all they do is play what they have to in order to be within the rules of the dictator Monahan. The money is obscene and the charges for food and beverages… they should be ashamed.

  13. I get the morality question about Saudi Arabia. I think we should apply the rules to all countries then…NBA kow towing to China, anyone? Besides, they are the backers of the league. The players are not signing any allegiance to SA. Their only allegiance is to the cash, which incidentally is why the vast majority of Americans go to work. Do you think the manager of a bank is fiercely loyal to the bank? No way. This is no different. This is capitalism at its best, and that’s what golf is about. Now if the players switch countries to play for another nation in the olympics or national events…
