Australia’s Minjee Lee carded a second-round 69 and will head into the weekend at the HUGEL-AIR PREMIA LA Open as the solo leader at 7-under par.

Lee’s round was highlighted by a 114-yard hole-out eagle on the par-4 14th at Wilshire Country Club.

“Out of all the ones that I have been close to making, I think that’s the only one that I actually saw like drop into the hole,” said Lee, who owns two runner-up finishes this season.

“It was pretty cool to see it happen for the first time.”

Denmark’s Nanna Koerstz Madsen shot a 67 and sits one back on 6-under par, with America’s Morgan Pressel (66) and Mexican Gaby Lopez (68) tied for third-place at 5 under.
