Neil Diamond's Sweet Caroline, a Sporting Stadium Anthem, made its way into the European Tour's Made in Denmark event.

Neil Diamond’s hit song ‘Sweet Caroline’ was first introduced to the sports world by the Boston Red Sox, sometime around 1997, and has been played regularly at Fenway Park in the middle of the 8th inning since 2002.

Over the years, it’s become something of a stadium anthem at many sporting events in the United States, as well as across Great Britain at soccer and rugby games.

You can now add golf to the mix.

In the sports (stadium) version, after Diamond sings “Sweet Caroline” in the chorus, the crowd mimics the horn part, followed by “So good, so good, so good…” after he sings “Good times never seemed so good.”

At the Made in Denmark event, that’s exactly what Matthew Southgate and fans did in a walk-thru beer tent at Himmerland Golf & Spa Resort, as Diamond’s hit song blared on the speakers.

So good! So good!

Of course, if you prefer some Michael Jackson, here’s Jamie Donaldson… Not sure what song it is, but sweet moves by the Welshman.
