Volition America, in partnership with Revo, is introducing the Revo Volition America sunglass collection, a collaboration designed to support the Volition America movement and those who have sacrificed for our country.

Volition, which means ‘the power of using one’s will’ (or the power to choose with commitment), is a social movement brand which promotes American freedom, and the power of patriotism. It was founded by Lt. Dan Rooney, an Air Force Reserve Pilot who served three tours of duty in Iraq.

Rooney’s brainchild partners with existing products, like Revo, to produce Volition America co-branded products which then raises money for the Folds of Honor Foundation, which was also established by Rooney, who in addition to flying F-16s is also PGA club professional, and burgeoning golf course architect.

As the consumer-facing offshoot of Folds of Honor, Volition America first joined forces with PUMA to produce the Volition America Golf Collection, a patriotic ensemble of products designed in a red, white and blue color palette. [Available at Amazon]

The same kind of co-branding arrangement is in the works with Revo, which will manufacture a collection of Volition America sunglasses, featuring an array of Revo’s classic shapes and signature mirrored lenses, equipped with its NASA-based polarized lens technology.

With every piece sold, Volition America will support the families of military heroes by donating twenty-percent of the proceeds to FOLDS OF HONOR, which provides educational scholarships to the children and spouses of fallen and disabled service members.

“For me, it’s a win-win; we get to make great products with the Volition America brand and to support our military families, and especially children of fallen soldiers,” said Cliff Robinson, Revo CEO.

“As a brand, Revo also believes in philanthropy and helping children, so it’s a great honor to partner with Volition America and Folds of Honor Foundation to help raise money for our military families.

“It’s my personal goal to make sure this collaboration is a huge success since every sale means more money to help our military families.”

Volition America’s CEO, John Sapiente, was honored to be joining forces with Revo.

“There has never been a more crucial time for all of us to unite as Americans and make the choice to create a positive impact any way we can,” said John Sapiente, CEO, Volition America.

“Volition America was founded to create unity and positive change while donating a portion of our revenue to the families of our American heroes. We are honored to have Revo join our patriotic endeavor.”

Look for Revo’s Volition America line of sunglasses to become available in a series of rolling launches starting in April and/or May.
